Bookmarks - add to the existing selections rather than replace ?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on a Power BI project and encountered a challenge with slicers and bookmarks. I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to use bookmarks to add to an existing selection in a slicer without overwriting the initial choices.

Here's the situation: let's say a user has selected 'Cherry' and 'Banana' from a slicer. I want them to be able to click a bookmark named 'Include All Citrus', which adds Lemon, Orange, and Tangerine to their selection. However, currently, when the bookmark is applied, it clears the 'Cherry' and 'Banana' selections, only leaving the citrus fruits selected.

Does anyone know if it's possible for bookmarks to simply add to the existing selections rather than replace them? Or if there's another workaround to achieve this functionality?

Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi @CupidC

Unfortunately that the bookmark doesn't support the feature.

The bookmark is to capture the current state of a report page instead of group up the field in the slicer.

But you can group up the field and solve the issue with only slicer:

select the field and click the group:

The reslt is as follow:

after that you can add the inital field to the slicer:

If the above one can't help you, could you please provide more raw data in your tables (exclude sensitive data) with Text format and your expected result with backend logic and special examples? It would be helpful to find out the solution. You can refer the following links to share the required info:

And It is better if you can share a simplified pbix file. You can refer the following link to upload the file to the community. Thank you.
