Average of Multiple Columns Question

Good afternoon, I am using the formula below to obtain an average of multiple columns; however, when I add the measure to the matrix I get the message "cannot load the data because the function AVERAGE cannot work with values of type String".  How can I solve this?  Any suggestions?

(AVERAGE(Table2[SAP SRM Functionality])+average(Table2[SAP SRM Productivity])+average(Table2[SAP SRM Quality])+average(Table2[SAP SRM Support]))/4?

you need to change the data type of columns to a summable column, ie decimal or whole number, as its currently a string.
