Automate Power BI Data

Hi,

I have two excel files that I can upload into Power BI, and I am also provided with two SQL files that I must use to build an automated visualisation that updates as new data is added.
Could someone please explain how to complete the process?

Hi @virendrajadhav1 ,

You can use a composite model - import for the Excel files and direct quer for SQL.  Visuals using the SQL data will update as SQL gets updated. Here's the docu on composite model - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/transform-model/desktop-composite-models

Note: Queries connected to Excel files must be refreshed on demand or on schedule for the related tables in the data model to get updated.
