Good afternoon,
I'm encountering an issue with some data in Power BI, and can't work out how to present it properly.
My data is set so that I have a column for each month in a financial year, containing rows of savings in currency, an example of which is below:
Item | April 22 | May 22 | June 22 |
AAA | £111 | £111 | |
BBB | £28,203 | ||
CCC | £462 | £462 | £462 |
DDD | £893 | £893 | £893 |
EEE | £3 | £3 | £3 |
FFF | £204 | £204 | £204 |
I want to be able to plot these on a line graph where month is on the x-axis, but I can't work out how I'd go about doing that, or how I'd manipulate the data to allow me to do it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
@thehalfboy , If that is shape of you data I would advice to unpivot it and then use it
