Appended queries displaying different data than individual queries

Hi everyone,

I'm getting different results from individual queries versus an appended query.  In my test example below, the 2017 data in the first table is equal to the source data.  2018 is as well but in the appended query 2017 differs.  I've done no data modelling except to make sure date is a date.

Is there an explanation why the appended query would differ from the individual queries?

Thanks for your help!

1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

Update.  I was able to conquer this problem.

It was some kind of bug with how BI was interpreting the dates when appended.  I copied the date column and removed the time portion of the date/time and re-typed.  Created a new relationship to my date table and everything is now functioning as expected.

Thanks, everyone.

@funklordofusa,

You may check data in the Query Editor and code in The Advanced Editor.
