Hi,
I have just built a report on DESKTOP POWER BI.
I have clicked on the "Publish Button" and few seconds later, my report is accessible on the web. Yeah !!
But now, I have questions about confidentiality.
The report is not static (great !) but it mean that data has been uploaded too !
On the web, there is a security section, but nothing apear clickeable
So my question is :
Is my data and my report protected from outside access ?
If not, what can I do to fix it (Data are highly confidential)
Sincerely
François
Sorry for my english

Hi @fservais,
Is my data and my report protected from outside access ?
For data, Power BI uses two primary repositories for storing and managing data: data that is uploaded from users is typically sent to Azure BLOB storage, and all metadata as well as artifacts for the system itself are stored in Azure SQL Database. Data is not accessable for others.
For report, a user’s Power BI login is used by on-premises Active Directory servers to map to a UPN for credentials. However, it’s important to note that users are responsible for the data they share: if a user connects to data sources using her credentials, then shares a report (or dashboard, or dataset) based on that data, users with whom the dashboard is shared are not authenticated against the original data source, and will be granted access to the report. If you publish reports to your own workspace and don't share reports to anyone, your report is secure.

Thanks a lot for your answer.
So data, and report are safe in my workplace until I decide to share them to others.
Very kind of you
François
