Hi everyone,
I am trying to basically to sumproduct a table in BI to give the same result as I have in Excel.
Below is an example of what my data looks like in power BI when it is split out into products, but when it is rolled up into states only the before/after weighted averages do not tie back to what the sumproduct creates in excel, along with the total for all the states at the bottom..
Is this possible to do?
State | product | units | before | after | delta |
AL | A | 19 | 337 | 349 | 16 |
AL | B | 19 | 227 | 476 | 249 |
AL | C | 39 | 326 | 353 | 27 |
AL | D | 25 | 396 | 439 | 43 |
AZ | A | 6 | 377 | 367 | -10 |
CA | A | 17 | 94 | 109 | 15 |
CA | B | 29 | 138 | 177 | 39 |
CA | C | 6 | 48 | 60 | 13 |
FL | A | 6 | 69 | 61 | -8 |
FL | B | 7 | 151 | 259 | 107 |
can you show us how you are calculating the "before" and "after"
