How to combine 2 If Conditions in Power BI(Data- Direct Query Mode)

Hello  Experts,I need help with Power Bi Dax ,Here i need to join 2 If Condtions in one column,getting data from Direct query.Can anyone Please help me

Ex:

1St Condition -IF(Color ='ABC','EFG','IJK')

2nd Condition IF ( Shape= 'Circle','Square','Traingle')

Expected Result : EFG

                           Square

                            IJK

                            Triangle

Hi @daxlearner ,

 

According to my knowledge, you can use switch function to achieve this goal. Please try something like this:

 

Measure =
SWITCH (
    TRUE (),
    Color = "ABC", "EFG",
    Color <> "ABC", "IJK",
    Shape = "Circle", "Square",
    Shape <> "Circle", "Traingle"
)

 

Note: the logic of how to combine the two If conditions is not very cleary, you may need to modify the DAX, or provide more details about your table and your problem or share me with your pbix file after removing sensitive data.
