Decomposition Tree data bar conditional formatting

Hi Team,

I have decomposition tree with 3 levels as shown below. In this hierarchy, I would need: If one of the nodes unders product is yellow, all of its parent nodes should be yellow in color. Could someone please help on fulfilling this requirement.

Hi @suni_v ,

Based on my test, I'm afraid this is not supported in Power BI.

To my understanding, if the decomposition tree is formatted as what you want, let's take an example:

When Product="Paseo", the bar of MonthNumer=6 should be yellow;

When Product="Velo", the bar of MonthNumer=6 should be purple;

Then how shoud the bar of MonthNumer show? Yellow or Purple?

Therefore, it may not supported.

Hi @suni_v ,

I tried this by creating a measure and use it in conditional formatting,

CF =
SWITCH(TRUE(),
SELECTEDVALUE(financials[Year])=2014,"#FFC200",
SELECTEDVALUE(financials[Year])=2013,"Black")

Try and let me know if it works as per your expectation or not.

Thanks,

Arul
