Combined quarters compared to current quarter

Hello all! I would greatly appreciate some help with a DAX command. I can only share limited data as I work for a healthcare org. I need a command/function that allows me to average Q1 and Q2, then compare them visually to Q3, only using two lines or columns in the visual. I've tried everything I can think of with TOTALYTD, and multiple AVERAGE functions and can't get the data I need. Below is the measure that I have created.

Llq_IBW = TOTALYTD([lq_IBW],PREVIOUSQUARTER(('Date Dimension'[date])))

Are you using a Calendar table, and, if so, does it have a "quarter" column.
