Calculating difference between 2 dates in calculated measure.

hi i need to make a calculated measure which will present the different between the two dates in the columns above.

 

any help will be helpful thank you

Hi @Anonymous ,

 

Try this code to create a measure.

 

Datediff =
DATEDIFF (
    SELECTEDVALUE ( 'TableName'[Netflix Release Date] ),
    SELECTEDVALUE ( 'TableName'[Release Date] ),
    DAY
)

 

It will work after you add this measure into a visual.

@Anonymous Try:

Column = ( [Netflix Release Date] - [Release Date] ) * 1.

Or you can use DATEDIFF

Datediff =
DATEDIFF (
    SELECTEDVALUE ( 'TableName'[Netflix Release Date] ),
    SELECTEDVALUE ( 'TableName'[Release Date] ),
    DAY
)
