Assigning values to a category using a measure

I have a live connection to a Power BI dataset and I'd like to be able to create a measure which takes in a customer's country (in the 'Customer' table) and returns the region. Something like this:

Customer Country =

IF(

'Customer'[Country] ) == {"Netherlands","France","Austria"}, "Europe", "Other")

I'm having a hard time finding any information about this online.

I am not sure how your expected visualization looks like, but please try something like below, if you are creating a table visualization.

Customer Region =
IF (
    MAX ( 'Customer'[Country] ) IN { "Netherlands", "France", "Austria" },
    "Europe",
    "Other"
)

That worked, thanks! I want to use the measure to split sales by region instead of by country.
