Hello,
Recently we had a new option to configure the authentication to an Azure SQL database using a service principal. To do so we set up the tenant, the client id and the client secret. This service principal has the required permissions over the database. When we hit "connect", the datasource connection using these credentials is validated successfully.
We then trigger an on-demand refresh, once again this works successfully.
However, when the scheduled refreshes are triggered, the authentication to the datasource fails. When we trigger again an on-demand refresh, this works.
Is there a known bug with the service principal authentication for scheduled refreshes?
Thank you!
