Hi, this is a Mac user with Premium license
I'm tying teach my team use Power BI. We all use Mac and do not have access to Windows/Power BI Desktop.
Is there any alternatives OTHER than windows to solve this problem
so that we actually get to leverage the data modeling feature of Power BI?
Thank you all.
I kindly request alternative solutions that can address this issue and allow us to utilize Power BI's data modeling capabilities. It would greatly benefit us if Microsoft could improve the cross-platform compatibility and availability of Power BI for Mac users.
Hi @Anonymous ,
Your reports are automatically upgraded to the enhanced metadata format when you open them in the latest version of Power BI Desktop.
You should republish your report to the service in Desktop, but unfortunately your desktop is currently not logged in.
You can try logging in to Desktop with a virtual machine
Below is the Microsoft's official link:

Hi,
I guess it's good to not assume everyone prefer the virtual machine solution.
I found the work around which is using datamart, but it's very hidden and not documented.
