Good morning all,
Ive been seaarching and cant quite seem to find the answer to my question.
I have a mySQL data source that I am using, with hundreds of tables, I wish to select about 50 of these tables, and append the data into a single table, but I dont want to load each table, then append.
Is there any way to append on load?
Thanks
Hi dazfoz,
Try doing the following: for each of the individual tables that you have, right click on each of them one by one and click on the "enable refresh" button, this will change the tick mark (shown below) from having a tick mark to not having one (picture not shown for this case).
You should also see that the name of the individual query becomes italicised. If it is italicised that means it won't load into the front end, but it will load into the Appended query.
Let me know if this helps or if I can elaborate further
What do you mean by "but I dont want to load each table"
Apologies,
I dont want to have to load each table into my report, then append the tables seperatly.
Doing this I will have 50 original tables, plus the one appended table (Assuming I append as new).
I just want to load the data into 1 x appended table.
Thanks
