What was last week's PBI Desktop update about?

Hello,

Does anyone know what the update to Power BI desktop last week (2.126.927.0 16/2/2024) delivered?

It has started causing us "We couldn't fold the expression to the datasource" errors in reports that previously worked, and I can't find anything on here:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/fundamentals/desktop-latest-update

In fact, I can't find any reference to it anywhere!

Thanks in advance,

In case it helps, I've managed to find the download links on this page: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/fundamentals/desktop-latest-update-archive?tabs=powerbi-d...

I'm SURE they weren't there yesterday but glad they are there now!

As per this issue below, I've confirmed that the legacy December PBI Desktop version works, whilst the Feb version does not. Closing this thread for now: https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Issues/Snowflake-DirectQuery-query-folding-failing-since-q...

Thanks @amitchandak for the lightening reply as always!

I appreciate the link to the desktop update archive but I've read that page like 50 times now and I can't find the actual link to the previous executable! All the links provided to the Microsoft store, download centre, or "Get Power BI Desktop" point to the latest version of the exe, which is broken for me.  Am I missing something?

@ali_b , Yes, I can see Power BI updated, but no release notes. We should have those in a couple of days.

As of now, you can log an issue - https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues

If you have installed it(not using the Microsoft store), You can uninstall and install the previous version https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-latest-update-archive
