PBIX File overwritten

Hi

Here is my scenario.

I downloaded the PBIX file and made my changes (3 major data groups) and published. My version was live for about a week.

Then I noticed that the live version of the report does not include my new data groups.  I think another user has downloaded the PBIX file (prior to my changes) made amends and published, thus loosing my new data groups.

Is there a way to get my data groups back or a way to find out what or who made the other changes?

Thanks

Hi, @sleekpeek

Don’t you have the modified desktop version? Just republish to the service.

In order to avoid this situation, it is recommended to set the permissions for different users. If he doesn't have the right to change the data, just give him the viewer permission. It is necessary to make a backup. I think it is difficult to return the data that has been modified in the service.

@sleekpeek , check with support https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/

Also, try to source control or keep backup on one drive
