Odd table totaling behavior

I would like for the table totals to be averages of the values in their respective columns, but I can't find any place to adjust that setting. Currently, I have a table that is returning a total that is lower than any of the values in the column.

oee.PNG

Is this determined by the measures fed into the tables?

The DAX behind the OEE column is:

m.OEE = [m.OEEAvailability] * [m.Performance] * [m.Quality]

m.OEEAvailability = CALCULATE(AVERAGEA(CO_PROD_SHIFTS[c.OEE_AVAILABILITY]))

m.Performance = CALCULATE(AVERAGEA(CO_PROD_INFO[c.PERFORMANCE_MAX100]),CO_PROD_INFO[MFG_TYPE]="INJECTION",CO_PROD_INFO[MFGNO]<>"DOWN-TIME",CO_PROD_INFO[SAMPLE]<>"TRUE")

m.Quality = CALCULATE(DIVIDE(SUM(CO_PROD_INFO[GOOD_PTS]),SUM(CO_PROD_INFO[TOTAL_PTS])),CO_PROD_INFO[MFG_TYPE]="INJECTION",CO_PROD_INFO[MFGNO]<>"DOWN-TIME",CO_PROD_INFO[SAMPLE]<>"TRUE")

This looks like a measure totals problem. Very common. See my post about it here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/DAX-Commands-and-Tips/Dealing-with-Measure-Totals/td-p/63376

Thanks for your reply, Greg.

I added a DATESBETWEEN filter to my m.OEEAvailability formula and that seems to have resolved my issue.

Do you know how DAX arrives at the totals it returns? My assumption is that PowerBI uses the underlying data to calculate the totals from scratch. I have some end-users that are worried that it is simply averaging the columns in the table visual to arrive at the totals.

@Anonymous The default behavior is that the Total row calculates the DAX expression in the context of ALLSELECTED (or effectively ALL if no filters are being applied to the table)
