Good day Team,
Sorry if this has been posted in the wrong section 😞
Quick question, I'm trying to add customer thermometer to our Power BI dashboorde and I have found the below instructions but when I click on to download CustomerThermometer.mez file I just get a webpage with gibrish text and don't get an option to download anything. Can any one help with this?
The below link is the guide.

Sorry, I made a mistake in the path for the mez file, it should be in
[Documents]\Power BI Desktop\Custom Connectors
Create that folder, move the mez file and try again.

HI @Snowy34
So when you click Get Data -> More and then search for thermometer nothing appears?

Hi @Snowy34
The .mez file is binary and you should right click the link then choose Save as (or similar wording) and save the file to your PC.
To install this custom connector you must put the mez file in [Documents]\Power BI Desktop\Custom Connectors
So that is into your default Documents folder on your PC.
Create the Folder Power BI Desktop\Custom Connectors if it doesn't exist.
Refer to this link for further info
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-connector-extensibility
IMPORTANT : in the link above it mentions making changes to Options -> Security - Data Extensions - make sure you do this or the custom connector will not be loaded. This change requires a restart of PBI Desktop.
If you've done everything then when you click Get Data you should be able to see the connector:
