I'm looking to create a plot showing the timelines for tasks occuring in equipment.
This is similar to a Gantt in some ways, but the key difference is each row is a piece of equipment, not a task.
e.g. given sample data like this:
Procedure | Equipment | Start Time (hr) | Duration (hr) |
Reaction A | R101 | 0 | 10 |
Reaction B | R102 | 3 | 8 |
Reaction C | R101 | 12 | 5 |
Reaction D | R102 | 10 | 10 |
...create something like this:
I don't think this is possible with the Microsoft Gantt visual.
For reference, this is trivial to do in python using matplotlib's broken_barh functionality e.g. good examples here.
