MAQ Gantt Chart in app.powerbi
When I try to publish a MAQ gantt chart that I’ve made in desktop to app.powerbi, somehow the whole gantt chart doesn’t want to show up. When I try recreating it straight in app.powerbi, every time I drag 2 columns into [Category], it says “Please select a column from the category field”. Is this because the online version does not take more than 1 field for [Category]?
Note: I need 2 fields in category as one of them is for the legend to show up.
Thanks!

I am having the same issue. We have been using this visualization for months without issue, but now are just displayed a message of "please select a field that is already present in category". I am guessing it is an issue with the underlying data? Any direction on things to look for?

Hi @Anonymous
Based on my test, i cannot reproduce the same issue as yours. The online version is the same as desktop for MAQ gantt chart. It's better you could share more details or sample file for your scenario so that we could help further on it. Here is the sample file for your reference. Find some posts for you to check.

Hi @v-cherch-msft,
Thanks for getting back to me. I've taken a few screenshots, so hopefully it explains a bit:

Hi @Anonymous
Could you kindly provide us with the dataset (sample data will be fine) using which the issue is reproducible at your end.
Having more information will help us in analysing the issue faster.
