where is the 1gb limit?

Hi, I keep reading there is a 1GB file size limit. I do have a Pro license.

I am wondering where/when/how is the limit enforced?

I am using SSAS and I had no issues before when publishing reports; but where can I check if I am coming close to that limit?

Hi. The data model 1Gb limit (it's not file size, it's model size) it's for shared capacity. If you have pro license and you a creating a new model at PowerBi Desktop with Import Mode, that model is the one you should check for limits.

If you have SSAS as the place for running the model and you are connecting PowerBi with live connection, then your limit will be if you overload your Analysis Services Server Ram memory.
