Using "Export to file for Paginated Report" in Power Automate on Pro workspace?

So Paginated Reports are now supported on Pro workspaces, which is great. I'm seeing several use cases for my organization.

I'm trying to set up a flow using "Export to file for Paginated Report" in Power Automate but get an error saying "Report requested for export is not on dedicated capacity". Do you have any idea if this feature will be made available on Pro workspaces, or if this still a Premium-capacity required feature? Perhaps I'm just setting up the flow in the wrong way? Let me know if this is a question better suited for another forum.

Not a big issue if it's not available, there are other solutions that would work for me, but would be nice to know.

Thanks!

Hi @TomasAndersson ,

There are some limitations about exporting automate:

  • At least one workspace in your Power BI tenant backed by a reserved capacity. This capacity can be any of the A4/P1 – A6/P3 SKUs. Read more about reserved capacities in Power BI Premium.
  • Access to the standard connectors in Power Automate, which come with any Office 365 subscription.

Basically, yes, you need to reserved capacitites in Power BI Premium.

For more information, you can refer this documentation:

Export paginated reports with Power Automate - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

Hope these help you.
