I'm using Pro Trial Version.
My schedule refresh is set 6pm daily.
From the refresh history, it refresh at 7:55, 9:50, 8:50..... It was late every day.
When I refresh manually (on demand), it works.
Is it a known issue? or is it because i'm using a trial version?
Thanks

Hello,
We have made enhancements in this area. Official SLA is 1 hour to start the refresh. Are you still seeing schedule refresh starting more than an hour?

it has around 30 minutes delay in these three days.
Hello,
The refresh is expected to start within an hour of the time you configured for refresh. Official documentation avaialble at https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-refresh-data/
We are often well over an hour. Just checked one of my datasets which was scheduled for 8am, and its now 9.48am and it still hasn't run.
Zu,
We shouldn't be seeing delays over an hour.
Can you send me your Tenant name and the dashboard using that dataset?
Chass@microsoft.com
Thanks,
Chuck
Hi Chass
I will email this over to you now.
Thanks
Zara
@chass as luck would have it, they all seem to be running fine this morning. One report looked like it took 1hr45m earlier, but it then refreshed before i could get a screen dump. I have altered the schedule on it now anyway. As soon as i have an example i'll email you.
Has this issue been corrected for the Personal Gateway or is it still open ?
Now both Schedule Refresh (delay more than 1 hour) & Manual Refresh do not work. Is it server problem?
The time now is 28-Jul-2016 6:35PM (GMT+8)
The same issue here, I've been using automatic refreshes in PowerBI services since two months ago and finally i had the same problem, each dataset is delaying more than half an hour, any solution to this?
Yes, we are suffering from a service interuption.
Please see: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/
Thanks
Chuck
It is still suffering today.
I can't refresh or publish the project now.
It seems it's suffering every week
Hello hongkwokkwok,
I see that we have a service interuption...but without your tenant name and/or Dashbaord URL it is impossible for me to ask Ops to take a look at your specific situation and see if that is the cause of YOUR delay.
Thanks
Chuck
@hongkwokkwok It is official that When you configure a time for scheduled refresh, there can be a delay of up to one hour before it begins and it is regardless of the tyep of account you have.
Take last week as an example.
My schedule is 6pm daily. But the refresh history in mon-fri are 7:53, 7:55, 9:50, 8:50, 8:55. It's late more than one hour every day.
User is expected to get the updated result around 6:30 - 7:00.
However, it's late for whole week.
I'm figure out a solution such as setting schedule for 5:00, 5:30...but I'm not comfortable for it...I'm not sure how long is the delay
Today it has just 30 min. delay. maybe it is Sunday?
