Dear Members hi,
I will need once again your help.
I have a pro account in power bi used by several employees.
There is a report with many slicers and filters.
Each user must configure the filters avery time they enter.
I was wondering if there is a way automatically every time the report loads to clean or reset filters.
I know there is a button for this feature but i really need this to be done automatically, the users must not see the selections of other employees. It's a matter of data protection.
Thank you very much in advance!
Thank you very much!
HI @Dimitris_Kats ,
The fact that you are cheating the system by having multiple users one account is the issue here. As long as folks are using the same account the report will cache based on the last user's changes. If you are concerned about data integrity and security you need to give each user their own login. Then, it is very easy to use RLS to make sure everybody sees their version as they expect it to be seen.

@collinq Hi.
Thank you very much for your reply.
Sorry but i am not cheating the system...all of these users has the same access to this dataset.
The issue here is that they are constantly asking me how to reset filters.
I was wondering if there is a way to do it automatically. That's all.
Thank you again!
Hi @Dimitris_Kats ,
My comment about "cheating the system" is in regards to the licensing - it should be one person has one license and not multiple people sharing one license. And, that is the filter reset problem that you are running into.
