Recommendation for a tool that will assist in documentation of existing Dashboards

I am seeking the best method to document exiting Dashboards.  Are there any 2nd party apps that will analyze an existing dashboard and create a report that shows all the background details of the dashboard.

All recommendations are appreciated.

Thanks,

Karen

Hi   @Anonymous ,

After research, there is no app that can meet the demand for the time being.

You can use the following methods to view information about the dashboard:

1. Dashboard Usage Metrics report,  you discover how those dashboards and reports are being used throughout your organization, who's using them, and for what purpose.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-usage-metrics

2. Audit log search. Enter the Microsoft 365 management center through admin portal-Audit logs-and select Audit-search for dashboard in Activities. View the activity log about dashboard.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/admin/service-admin-auditing#operations-available-in-the-audit-and-activity-logs

3. Set alerts.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/consumer/end-user-alerts
