Power BI dataflow with Incremental performing further transformation in desktop

Hi All,

I need some clarification regarding scenario I have in our company.

Power Bi dataflow is being created connecting to source table in Power Bi service. Incremental refresh is setup for this dataflow. As developer we need to connect to that dataflow from desktop to do the further transformation and publish it to workspace. I have few questions on this scenario

1) Is it best practice to develop report?

2) During incremental load further transformation in power query (which we did in desktop) will be performed on full data or just incremental data from dataflow?

3) What is the best development practice using dataflow ?

3.  The best dataflow is one that you don't have.  The purpose of dataflows is to shield you (the report developer) from slow data sources.  It does nothing for report users, and is not required for fast data sources.
