How to estimate Pay-as-you-go bill using capacity metrics?

Hi,

We are currently using Fabric P1-SKU and we would like to use the info available through the Fabric Capacity Metrics app to estimate the cost of the bill of same workload under a F-64 SKU license

In the table I see that for last 14 says the CUs consumption is about 11,057,928 CU

How to calculate how much money this would cost on F64 SKU that has cost of €11.821 by hour?

Thanks

I will try to answer my self.

64 CUs at 11.8€ by hour gives a cost of 0.184 CU per hour (11.8/64)

0.184 * (11,057,928/3600) = 570€ approx

Am I right?

Thx

Yes! We need to know this information to plan our PBI migration from PBI capacitity (prepaid) to Fabric Capacity on Pay-as-you-go.

This link might help you to do the required estimation

Hi @alfBI

Based on the above information, I would suggest that you could create a support ticket. And a dedicated Microsoft engineer will come to solve the problem for you.

The link of Power BI Support: https://support.fabric.microsoft.com/en-SG/support/
