Force the use of "Enable SQL Server Failover support" when using the data gateway

Hi,

I am looking for a way to forcefully apply "Enable SQL Server Fialover support" when dataset owners are using the data gateway - No matter if they have set the option in their report. Is there a way to set this setting in the data gateway?

Hi. I don't think you can force it. That's not something you can configure at the gateway. It should be a rule for the developers. You can read more about it on this post at the community: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/SQL-Query-new-advanced-setting-quot-enable-sql-server-failo...

There is also a guy in a cube video about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8Fimh4lcUg

I hope that helps,
