Filter report based on a date in power bi after the report is published

I am new to power bi. I am trying to create a tabular report which has a date field.

I have published the report and embedded it to a web page. Now my requirement is to allow the user to filter the report such that it includes only those rows which lies in a date range. Is it possible? If yes, then can you please tell me how or point to any document which explains how.

I searched the internet and power bi forum but unable to find any clear explanation.

Any help would be appreciable. Thank you

I am afraid you could not filter the report after it is published, I suggest you create a slicer visual for your report before you publish your report:
