Hello everybody!
I am using Chrome for Office 365 and for Power BI service with different accounts.
For reports published via 'Publish to Web' (https://app.powerbi.com/view?r=eyJrIjoiMzBhZ...):
- Chrome in normal mode (logged in or logged out in Office 365) returns ERROR 401 - UNAUTHORIZED.
- Chrome in anonymous mode behave correctly and published report is shown correctly.
Chrome in normal mode may have other related strange behaviour:
- login in to Power BI service via https://app.powerbi.com/ or via https://www.office.com/ returns also ERROR 401 - UNAUTHORIZED
- URLs like https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/query-bi/dax/data-analysis-expressions-dax-reference returns "HTTP Error 400. The size of the request headers is too long."
Chrome in anonymous mode works correctly.
Chrome behaves in this way not only in our company.
Any suggestion for fixing this behaviour?
Thx for help.

Hi @pr_tr_cz,
Do you mean the anonymous mode is Incognito mode?
The report URL generated by published to web feature doesn't require any Power BI account to access it. Also the URL https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/query-bi/dax/data-analysis-expressions-dax-reference don't require any credential. Please clear Chrome browser cache then restart browser, access Power BI service portal again, it should prompt entering Power BI account. Also keep running teh latest Chrome browser.
Please also try with other browsers, eg: IE 11 and Edge browser to see if the same issue occurs.

Hello Team,
I'm getting same error, any proper solution to resolve this bug. I hava check in Google Chrome, Goolge Chrome (Incognito Mode), IE but not working.
I have check the request details form network and found that, it's related to 400 (Bad Request) & 401 (Unauthorized).
Thanks,
Brijesh
I have the same issue. And it constantly reappears. I cannot demand users to clear cache all the time.
It looks like some conflict between power bi embedded token and Power BI Pro authentification in the same time.
Hi @pr_tr_cz,
Glad to hear the issue is gone.
I will close this thread.
