Hi Guys,
Ive come across a problem that I am unable to resolve. I am working with one of our partners on building a dashboard that I will manage and they will consume.
As part of the PowerBi release notes a couple of months ago, we have enabled the 3rd party within our system with a PRO licence, login details, and shared the dashboard. However, the organisation they work for also uses PowerBI and whenever they try and access any external content they get an error message that tells them they are not allowed to access my domain. It sounds like there must be a security setting within PowerBI/Azure that stops a tennant from consuming external data, but I have no idea where this setting may be.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Hi @Rich_P_G,
It seems you are talking about the business to business sharing. There is an awareness in the support page. The engineer are working on this issue.
Best Regards,
Dale
Hi Dale,
Thanks for the response but I dont think this is the problem. I have shared a dashboard to other external parties and they can access fine. However, with one external party my domain is blocked at their end in Microsoft admin and we do not know how to unblock.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
