Cannot refresh dataset

We have an existing dataset in a premium capacity.  The last scheduled refresh shows a status of "timed out".  Now we cannot manually refresh it (nothing happens) and cannot republish it from desktop (it just hangs).  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

@TomMartens thank you for the suggestion.  It turns out the problem was the dataset was stuck while failing to refresh due to being over the memory limit for our premium capacity.  After increasing the capacity, refresh and republish is working correctly again.

Hey,

if you have a local Power BI report as the source of the dataset you might consider to delete the dataset from the workspace, this will also delete the report.
Then republish from Power BI Desktop.

Please be aware that changes made online to the report will be gone.

You also have to check if existing Dashboards that are utilizing visuals from the report have to be checked as well.

Hopefully this will solve your issue.

Regards,
Tom
