Brand new to Power BI

Hello all, I am brand new to using Power BI. I am struggling to figure out how to create a chart based off of excel data that is generated on a weekly basis.

I want to user power automate and graph if needed to update the data on the chart when a new spreadsheet is uploaded to an SP site.

I would like to create a Power BI graph or chart to show the number of machines that have not run AV scans based on a date.
The output of the spreadsheet shows a last scanned date and using that I would like to display the number of machines that have not been scanned in the past two weeks.

The hard part I think will be I need the date to update each week so the graph/chart is current.

Like I said I am brand new to Power BI so I am not sure how to phrase my google searches since I am unfamilliar still with the different terms in Power BI.

Any help with would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @TheITNinja

You can follow this blog post on how to get your excel data into Power BI

Import an Excel file into PowerBI -

Then if you need to refresh it you would need to use the Gateway to refresh the data.

I think the first step would be to import the data into Power BI and then publish the report to the Power BI Service.
