Alert Icons have appeared and how to turn them off

It appears that every visualisation in my reports now have an alert icon next to them.

I am convinced that this wasn't there a few days ago and it's on every single visual.

It would be less of an issue if you could actually set up an alert but no matter what I do the 'create' button is greyed out.

It does appear that I need Fabric capacity, which I don't have.

Is there any way of turning off the alert bell icon? It doesn't appear to be in the list of icons that I can manage in the desktop.

Thanks

Hi @tonylee @kylesnow06

Unfortunately that I was confused by this icon before, but actually the alert icon can not be hidden individually.

Maybe you can submit the idea in Microsoft Fabric Ideas:

Hi @tonylee

Here are some limitation of alert:

  • Alerts aren't supported for card tiles with date or time measures.
  • Alerts only work with numeric data types.
  • Alerts only work on refreshed data. They don't work on static data.
  • Because alerts are only sent if your data changes, you don't receive duplicate alerts for an unchanged value.
  • Alerts only work on streaming datasets if you build a KPI, card, or gauge report visual and then pin that visual to the dashboard.
  • You can create up to 250 alerts across all your models.

Set data alerts in the Power BI service - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

The icons can only disappear in read model:

In Edit mode:

Then in read mode:

Thanks for your response. You showed how to turn off all icons but there are icons that I want to show. In the desktop you can pick and choose which items to show but the alert icon isn't one that has an individual check box. I want to keep some icons and hide others as the feature is designed to... so how do I hide the Alert icon

I'm having the same issue as well. Can't find out where to turn off that icon, either when editing in the desktop or the Power BI Service.
