On-Premise data set size limit

Hello

We are running into an issue where the scheduled cacshe will not refresh once the data set gets over 1 GB (This data set is unusually large).  Is there a limit of 1GB for on-premise power bi datasets?  If it is a 1GB default can it be expanded?  If so where would you do that?

Thanks in advance!

1Gb is the default max file size, you can increase this in the Advanced Settings to 2Gb using SQL Server Management Studio.

If you open SQL Server Management Studio, then choose the "Reporting Services" option

Then connect to https://<servername>/reportserver

Then right click on the server and go into properties

Then you can change the MaxFileSizeMb setting upto 2000
