Need help importing a person field from SP List

Hello,  im workign on my first dashboard and having some trouble with importign a person field from a sharepoint list, which is coming through as a number.  i tried to google the answer and a few sites said i should click on a double arrows icon to select the field that i wanted, but i dont see the double arrows in power query.   i also read that i needed to import the User Information List and link the ID fields, but that appears to be a list of users who have access to the SP list, and not related to the people who are in this column.

could any one help me figure out what i am doing wrong so that i can get the person's name or email to display instead?

Use the V1 connector and pull in the "User Information List"  or use the V2 connector which automatically expands that field.

@lbendlin I figured it out,  i was using the sharepoint list connector, which is different than the sharepoint online list connector.  the latter has the option for v1 and v2.  thank you

where do i choose which connector to use?
