Hello,
I would like support in a situation where I am having difficulty. I have a column in text format that contains several numeric characters of undefined sizes. My objective is to standardize the entire column and separete the numeric codes present in this chain by space delimiter. The codes obtain the restrictions of:
1) Each code has 7 numeric characters from 0 to 9
2) Each code starts with the number 4
Following an example of what I aim for:
LINE 154: "45643794237901"
LINE 154 expected result: "4564379 4237901"
I'm using the Table.TransformColumns function beacause i want to change the same column. Can Simeone help me?
Solved! Go to Solution.
=Table.TransformColumns(PreviousStepName,{"ColName",each Text.Combine(List.Transform(List.Split(Text.ToList(Text.From(_)),7),Text.Combine)," ")})
=Table.TransformColumns(PreviousStepName,{"ColName",each Text.Combine(Splitter.SplitTextByRepeatedLengths(7)(Text.From(_))," ")})
=Table.TransformColumns(PreviousStepName,{"ColName",each Text.Combine(List.Transform(List.Split(Text.ToList(Text.From(_)),7),Text.Combine)," ")})
Thanks for the support!! It Works!
Best Regards!
