We are currently making tiles with power BI and publishing these so we can integrate them directly into the CRM Online Dashboards. The initial setup was very smooth and intuitive, didn't take long to get the wanted presentations.
However, we hit a bump with refresh frequency. We need the data to be updated often within opening hours, 8 to 17 is fine. We are able to schedule a refresh every hour, to a limit of 8 refresh.
Is there any way to have scheduled data refresh every 5-10 minutes or live data from Dynamics 365 CRM (Online). I know there are limitations since we do not have direct SQL access.
Any other approach or workaround?
Best regards
Jacob

Hi @jbh,
If you need more frequent refresh, you should consider to move data from Dynamic 365 CRM to SQL Server database, then use DirectQuery option. Or use streaming dataset instead to get live data, for more details, please review this article: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-service-real-time-streaming/ .
