Hi,
Here I have column, that i want to split. What I want to do is to create another column that will contain only whether the row is QTD or YTD, or if the row contains BS category, it should be null. Does anyone have an idea how could it be done?

Hi @Vladan ,
You can create a custom column something like this:
if List.Contains({"BSCategory1", "BSCategory2", "BSCategory3"}, [Parameter]) then null
else if Text.Contains([Parameter], "QTD") then "QTD"
else if Text.Contains([Parameter], "YTD") then "YTD"
else // your escape value e.g. "Other", null etc.
If all the categories that aren't QTD or YTD are BS categories, then you can simplify to this:
if Text.Contains([Parameter], "QTD") then "QTD"
else if Text.Contains([Parameter], "YTD") then "YTD"
else null
