Hi all,
I am trying to connect to a SQL2016 RS CTP 3.2 server via iPhone app but it fails immediately after pressing "connect" button, with the generic error "something went wrong".
I followed the instructions posted here:
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/mt637153.aspx
I configured basic auth on the server as per release notes, and tested via web browser access and it works.
I disabled https in order to avoid any ssl certificate issue.
Is there a place where can I find a debug log in order to understand what is the problem?
Thank you,
Roberto
Hi, Roberto.
I'm facing the same problem that you.
Have you manage to resolve it?
Thanks in advance.
Try if leaving only basic as auth method it works.
Using fiddler I found that even if I had both NTLM and Basic auth, it tried to use NTLM first.
I had this issue while testing CTP 3.2.
Don't know if it has been fixed with CTP 3.3
