App fails to obtain access token - error 200 but text "Operation returned an invalid status code 'NotFound"
Have Az web site (app service). Created an app registration for it. Created a security group, put that app registration into it. Have a power bi pro subscription. Created report. Added security group into 'allowed to access'. According to the many (and sometimes conflicting) MS doc pages and 'guy in cube' videos, this is all that is needed. But doesn't work (above error).
Tried the famous Developer-Samples | .NET Core | Embed for your customers - gets same error.
Been a day of frustration and stack overflowing, nothing works, have nothing left to try, Hate to admit defeat and tell client "forget PowerBI, we can't get it to work."
Last ditch attempt - any help or working example would be greatly appreciated.
Rick.
Thanks for your response. I would have liked to cancel this question and save you time, the client is going with an alternative service.
