@Raymond_dong , few users have faced an issue with the August 2020 release. In case you opening a file of lower to higher version it should work. IN case you are not able to open Jul 2020 release file in August 2020 release, Log an issue -https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-custom-format-strings
Hi @Raymond_dong ,
You cannot open a Power Bi report which is created in higher version on a lower version of it.
