data is loading in power bi service but not in power query

Hello Community,

Am coming across a probelm, that when refreshing a dataset in power bi service, it's working fine, however when trying to load the data in power query in power bi desktop of the same dataset, am getting fatal error and not being able to load it to the desktop client. 

Any ideas what could be the problem and how to solve it?

There must be some rules applied in Desktop version which might be causing the load to break.
Check if there are any step in Power Query which is breaking it.

cheers @prateekraina there was a step in one of the tables that broke for no reason. it's all good now.

Am suspecting that there are some corrupted files in my query editor, as this started happening only yesterday. am not sure though. 

I just tried loading the same query on a different machine and it worked. Not sure how can I check if dataset on the desktop is broken? any thoughts?

Can you please upload a screenshot of the error and the Query Editor to help you better.
