correlation matrix / plot

Dear all,

It's newbie here again. I would like to plot a correlation plot or matrix. I searched the internet up and down, and also apps but wonder which to use.

There is microsoft correlation plot previously but is no longer available it seems. Correlation Analysis using Correlation Plot in Power BI Desktop (mssqltips.com)
There is this rather long method to make many measures which i fear i will mess up. How to Build a Native Correlation Matrix in Power BI - BI Elite

There is also a python which i will worry, as I copy the formula screen by screen, in the video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6NsGwc5oYE

I have checked this forum and solutions seem to be a couple years back, so i wonder if there is anything new lately i can use?

Thank you so very much!

Power BI Desktop has a built-in correlation quick measure. It's not perfect but it can give you an idea how to calculate that yourself.  And recently LINEST(X) has been added as a function that also returns the r value.

Hi @ModelFear

In addition to the methods you mentioned, there is an option to generate the chart with Deneb

You can see her the example :

I don't think that there are easier options than Patrick's method.

If you need it for multiple measures you can just use field parameters with this.
Here is a link for more information about field parameters :
