Want minimum date of maximum slicer date

Hi All,

      I have a slicer between with 4/4/2019 to 5/5/2019. 

now i want to get the minimum date of 5/5/2019, i.e 5/1/2019

can any one help me with writing dax to above condition.

By my tests, you could try the measure below.

Measure =
VAR a = MAX ( 'Table'[Date] ) RETURN DATE ( YEAR ( a ), MONTH ( a ), 1 )
