I am learning Power BI and wants to understand the working of a calculated column.
I have Employee ID and Pay Rate. I created a Measure
Avg_PayRate = average(core_dataset[Pay Rate])
Now I want to create a calculated column to use as a filter.
When i create it as:

The result of "Column" is correct but for the "Column 3" it is not. So i just wants to understand how to evaluate a formula. Thanks
