Unable to publish to web

Hi All,

 

I need help in publish the dashboard as it says file is too large to publish.

Hello @shabrez ,

 

Please look for and remove columns that have lots of text in them.

Notes fields are a big killer of performance and increases in pbix file size.

Remove columns that are not useful for reporting and analysis.

Hi @shabrez ,

 

You can reduce the dataset size by limiting the number of rows returned using parameters in PowerQuery. Such as:

xifeng_L_2-1715590105235.png

 

Then, when you publish to the Server, change the query parameters in the dataset setting to return all the data, so you can bypass the 1G size limit at the time of publishing.
