Hi all,
I have to Table: one for Resources and one for Tasks (they are excel sheets inported to Power BI) and here are how they are structured:
Resource Type | Capacity (Hrs) |
A | 10 |
B | 20 |
C | 30 |
D | 40 |
Task | A (Hrs) | B (Hrs) | C (Hrs) | D (Hrs) |
E | 1 | 2 | 3 | 0 |
F | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1 |
G | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 |
H | 3 | 4 | 0 | 2 |
Total (Hrs) | 13 | 15 | 12 | 11 |
These Tables are not related. I need to add the Total (Hrs) for each resource type (the last row in the second table) to the Capacity Table (add it to the last column in the first table) Any ideas how to do this? I have two problems here; these tables are not related and also I don't have a Resource Type column in the second table...instead each resource type has its own coulmn. Thanks for all your help.
Thanks,

Thank you very much for your help.
@Meiko , Unpivot the second table, if need you can append the two tables by correcting common column name
