Hello,
I am somewhat of a novice but had this question.
I am trying to replace a calculated measure name that I created in many Dax formulas with the actual column name in the data table.
Using TE I am doing Find/Replace for:
[SALES CHG] - My calculated measure
SUM([SALES DELTA]) - The SALES DATA table column name.
I click on SALES DATA table under TOM Explorer and then pull up FIND/REPLACE
I first do find and it finds 61 hits.
When I click on Replace all (for All Open Documents) it says replaced 0 occurances.
What am I doing wrong.
Hi @gmooney100 ,
Based on your description, I checked the documentation. First, If you are trying to rename variables in a DAX statement (Expression or Script), Ctrl+R will let you refactor a selected variable.
Of course, you also need to make sure that the replacement character you enter has no spaces so that it matches the original text. Next, make sure you choose the correct scope. Finally, you can check to see if the change has occurred.
You can refer to this document for more details on Find/Replace in the Tabular Editor

Albert He
